Apr 30, 2018 · Can anyone describe 17C AIT?: Hello, I am currently preparing for BCT. I want to join the Army for for 17C. I took a practice ASVAB with my recruiter and scored a 91. I really think I want to join the Army, but 1 years worth of training has me feeling uneasy. As well as having 0 idea of what will happen when I get out. So, I don't think extending for 2 more years will do any good for me and I am pretty sure I will be asked to sign another contract before I go to 17C AIT. I'd rather sign a new contract for 5 or 6 years and reclass into 17C than extending my contract for no obvious reason.Additionally, assigned as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the scripting and programming courseware within the 170A Warrant Officer, 17A Basic Officer Leadership and 17C AIT courses.U.S. Army Human Resources Command “Soldiers First” 1 Enlistment Bonus Program Effective 11 APR 2023 Bonus Amounts Per Yearsof Enlistment Applicable Job Code (JC)/MOS(s)Posted on Oct 25, 2022As others have said, whatever your starting date will be will be your hire date.
